About Tru Fire

Welcome to a new digital curriculum that creates space for the Holy Spirit to speak to the heart of every student.

Tru Fire features curriculum for 3-year-olds through middle school students and supports ministry in both large and small group environments. It equips leaders with engaging, Spirit-Empowered lessons that help students connect with God, find their place in His redemptive narrative, and respond to Him through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Tru Blessings

Tru Fire Blessing was designed for children to learn about God and His Word through fun, interactive storytelling and engaging in tactile exploration stations. Kids worship and celebrate God together through music, and receive a blessing to ask God’s Spirit to overflow from the child’s life in such a way that they bless others.

Tru Wonder

Tru Fire Wonder invites children to experience the wonder of who God is through lively games and storytelling from The Big God Story. Children will worship God as they respond to who He is and what He is teaching them. Through music, prayer, and interactive response stations, children are encouraged to engage in this time of worship either individually or corporately within their faith community.

Tru Story

Tru Fire Story reveals God’s incredible redemptive plan to children and invites them to be a part of it. Children engage in fun, creative activities designed to pique their curiosity about The Big God Story. They respond to what the Holy Spirit is teaching them as they reflect on the lesson and express their response to God by praying in the Spirit and responding to His voice.

Tru Identity

Tru Fire Identity empowers students to own their faith as they seek and respond to God and challenges them to find their identity in Him. As they mature as Spirit-empowered believers, teenagers are invited to engage with leaders and one another through activities, questions, and personal testimonies. Students are encouraged to connect with God through His Word, worship, and intentional times of response, as they learn to discern the voice of the Holy Spirit and His leading in their lives.

Family Ministry Essentials

Empowering families

God’s design for faith replication is through the context of the family (Deut. 6; Ps. 78) where the church plays a supportive/equipping role.

Spiritual formation for lifetime faith

We can discern God’s voice, have a desire to obey Him, and do so in the power of the Holy Spirit as we are spiritually formed into His likeness (Phil. 2:13).

Scripture is our authority

The Bible is God’s truth for daily living that guides us to know God and interpret our lives through the lens of His character and perfect will (2 Tim. 3:16–17).

The Holy Spirit teaches

We intentionally create environments where the Holy Spirit is free to move, teach, and lead through His Word and other believers (Jn. 14:26).

God is central

Because it is one story, the emphasis is on God’s love and redemption through Jesus. God is central to His Word, our lives, and the gospel (Col. 1:20).

God's redemptive narrative

“The Big God Story” is God’s ENTIRE story. It incorporates all of history, stretching from Genesis to Revelation and beyond, sharing the good news of redemption through Jesus (Rom. 8:1–2).

A community of ministry support

The Holy Spirit supports each believer in living as a disciple. Then a unified community of ministry leaders inspires, equips, and supports each other to transform the lives of a new generation (I Cor. 12:18–27).
